The Chianti area lies between two important cities, Florence and Siena, and it extends from the basin of the river Arno to that of the river Ombrone; it includes in the Valdelsa to the west, while to the east it reaches the Valdarno Superiore. The Chianti has always been a wine-producing area (there is evidence of viticulture activity right back to Etruscan times - 8th century B.C.), and it is worth visiting both for the unmatched beauty of its natural landscape (inextricably inter-related with the work of man) and for the many villages, castles, and farms spread out  through the whole territory.
Known throughout the world, this area is divided into two parts, the Chianti Fiorentino and the Chianti Senese.
Running through this historic territory is the Via Chiantigiana, which joins Florence and Siena. Off this main route there are innumerable roads (both asphalt and dirt roads) leading to ancient parish churches, castles, quaint villages and wineries.
The beauty of the landscape accompanied by the possibility to visit one or more wineries during these sightseeing tours and to taste some of the best wines and one of the best cuisine in Italy, it will render the visit to this area an unforgettable experience!  

Tour  6 A)  Chianti Tour -  Basic
(duration 9 hours) 
Departure at  7.30a.m. right in front of your ship at Livorno Port ,  heading toward the splendid Chianti countryside.  Stop for a visit (about 30 / 40 minutes)  at one of the following locations according to the itinerary that  it will have been e established: Montefioralle,  Greve, San Casciano Val Di Pesa, Vinci , Certaldo.
Stop at the 1st winery for visit to the cellars and for wine and olive oil tasting (about  1 ½  hour)
Stop at the restaurant / winery for  light lunch / lunch
Further driving trough the gorgeous Chianti countryside.
Stop  at the 2nd winery for visit to the cellars and for wine and olive oil tasting (about  1 ½  hour)
Return to your ship docked at the port of Livorno around  5.00 – 5.30p.m.  driving trough the gorgeous Chianti countryside.

Please note that all prices indicated above are quoted considering a pick up and drop off in Florence or its vicinities. We  can organize to come to your villa or accommodation in other areas of Tuscany and prices will be quoted separately upon request.

Stop at the 1st winery for visit to the cellars and for wine and olive oil tasting (about  1.00 – 1.30 hours)
Stop at the restaurant / winery for  lunch

Stop a well renowned “Gourmet Restaurant” of the area for an authentic wine & food  experience ! Here you will have the possibility to enjoy a terrific 5 courses lunch having each course paired with a great wine from Tuscany. A  meal to remember for life !
Stop  at the 2nd winery for visit to the cellars and for wine and olive oil tasting (about  1.00 –  1.30  hours)
Return to your ship docked at the port of Livorno around  5.00 – 5.30p.m.  driving trough the gorgeous Chianti countryside.
